A dynamic and multi-platinum songwriter with almost one billion streams to her name, Jess ‘Tye’ Morgan has been crafting electrifying bangers for industry giants such as Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, Martin Solveig, Francis & The Lights and Rudimental. Her songwriting prowess has also led to success internationally, including number 1 singles in Spain with ‘Lo Malo’ (5 x Platinum), as well chart-toppers in South Korea, with the sensational K-pop hit ‘INVU’ by Taeyeon and ‘Mystery’ from Super Junior’s hit album ‘The Renaissance’.
Signed by Simon Fuller’s 19 (XIX) for management while studying at BRIT School age 16, Tye was quick to sign a record deal with Warner Music. This whirlwind start laid the foundations for a career that’s been anything but ordinary. Her late teens were enriched by experiences most artists could only dream of, touring with Marina & The Diamonds on ‘The Family Jewels Tour’ and supporting acts like Pete Wentz/Black Cards and Janelle Monáe across the UK.
Tye’s incredible journey riding the highs and lows of the industry from such an early age, have armed her with a deep understanding and honesty that she brings with her into her sessions. This makes her a formidable collaborator not just for established artists, but also as a nurturing force for emerging talent, who may have found themselves on a similar trajectory as Tye experienced in her formative years.
