The Mercury Prize have just announced their shortlist and we’re incredibly proud to say we’ve been involved in no less than 2 out of 12 of the Albums Of the Year. It’s exciting news for Bryan Wilson, who engineered Stormzy’s UK #1 album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’, as well as Jake Gordon, for his mixing work on the J Hus album ‘Common Sense’. In the case of Jake this is the second year in a row an album he has mixed has been Mercury-nominated, following the winning album of last year, Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’.
Good luck to everyone involved. The winner for 2017 will be announced at the awards ceremony in September.
