Jake Gordon

Jake Gordon is the ‘go-to mixer’ for urban music. Credits include J Hus’ Mercury Prize-nominated album ‘Common Sense’, Skepta’s Mercury Prize-winning album ‘Konnichiwa’, Emeli Sande’s ‘Long Live The Angels’ album and Nadia Rose’s ‘Highly Flammable’ EP. More recently, Jake’s been mixing for Naira Marley, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle, One Acen, Hex, A2, Belly Squad, Team Salut, Steel Banglez, Young T & Bugsey, Hardy Caprio, BiG HEATH, Kabzzz, Burna Boy, RK, Zion B, Ocean Wisdom, MIST and many more.

Jake spent his early years assisting on albums for a wide variety of artists ranging from Wild Beasts, The Subways, Crystal Castles, Pulp, The Go! Team, Everything Everything and The Vaccines. Honing his craft alongside award-winning producers such as Dan Grech, Stephen Street and Alex Dromgoole, Jake went on to engineer records for Clean Bandit, Tinchy Stryder, Naughty Boy, Ady Suleiman, Plan B, Ty Dollar $ign and Wretch 32. He has also worked with pop groups such as The Saturdays and LA’s Big Time Rush.

Always looking to expand his horizons, Jake Gordon has also been working with upcoming artists in a variety of genres, such as Freddie Dickson, Jake Morley, Revere, Misty Miller, Keir, Raleigh Richie, Donel and Huntar.

Jake was nominated for ‘Breakthrough Engineer Of The Year’ at the 2018 MPG Awards.
