For fans of Robyn, Paramore, Chvrches and Twenty One Pilots, Cronicle is the solo project of Stockholm’s Melanie Mohlkert. It’s a combination of high energy pop/electronica and Scandinavian songwriting melancholia. Killer songs are combined with an exhilarating live show and a determination to go out there and break the mould of what a contemporary popstar can be. There’s nothing indentikit, inspid or anodyne about her. This is for real.
Cronicle’s recently supported artists as diverse as Lights, K. Flay and Enter Shikari, as well as playing at The Great Escape and Standon Calling festivals. She’s currently in writing mode, gearing up for her next string of releases, as a follow up to her high-octane debut single, ‘Head Up And High’.
Cronicle is co-managed with Pip Newby at Friends Vs Music
